Maximizes sperm survival during density gradient centrifugation.
BoviDilute is used to dilute BoviPure to desired concentrations to form either a one-layer- or a two-layer gradient for density centrifugation. The pellet retrieved after centrifugation contains only normal, purified spermatozoa. BoviDilute can also be used to extend bovine semen prior to centrifugation with BoviPure.
Features
- An isotonic salt solution.
- Unopened bottles have a shelf-life of 24 months.
- Open and close bottles under aseptic conditions. After opening, store the bottles at between 2 – 8°C.
- pH of 7.4-8.0.
- Osmolality (mOsm/kg H2O): 300-310.
- Terminally sterilised by autoclave.
- Content tested by sperm survival only.
- Packaging is made up of borosilicate glass bottles, silicone stoppers and tamper-evident seals.
- Bottles and stoppers have been M.E.A. tested.
- Store unopened bottles at between 2 – 40°C.
